ADDRESS YOUR ENGINEERING BOTTLENECKS
Create your own add-on
Our customers have been taking full advantage of our API, and have developed their own integrations and add-ons to make the most out of threads, and customise it for their specific needs.
Our Plyable and Google add-ons have already began to address many of their bottle-necks...
We worked with plyable to allow for instant quote generation

Simply upload a STEP file and select a mold type...

You should then receive a quote, instantly generated by Plyable.
We worked with Google to allow for simplified communication

Comment on a Doc, Slide or Sheet

View each comment and reply within Threads.
$500 reward
for each add-on published.
Either create an add-on for yourself, or publish it via Authentise and be rewarded.

Secure Collaboration Channels
-
Private and Encrypted Communication: Ensures that all communication within threads (chat, comments, file sharing) is secure and private, visible only to authorized users.
-
Tamper-Proof Messaging: Prevents modification of communication records to ensure that any actions taken within threads are traceable and secure.
Here's a project summary
Threads API
Threads is an engineering collaboration tool by Authentse. Physical parts design often needs input and controls from multiple stakeholders (departments) with different goals or needs. It coordinates goal-oriented conversation to make sure a part design fit all of the needs and restrictions.
In short, it's a verified and controlled way to quickly move from 'Idea' to 'Final Part Design.
'We want to enable you to develop an App for Threads. An app is a tool that does something fancy with a file or a comment that's been uploaded to Threads. For example, Plyable has an app on Threads. The Plyable app will take a STEP file uploaded to Threads, and provide a composite mold design plus associated quote and delivery information.
If you're interested in creating an app of your own that could analyze a file, or provide associated information, please contact us for your username and password to access a development instance of Threads. This is the base repo for creating a Threads App. You should fork this repo, and upload your submission to Github.
API Docs
You will interact with Threads via its JSON API. See the Swagger doc for a list of the available endpoints and their schemas. Note that these are still in development. If you have any comments, please contact us.
APP Publications
Once you're happy with your app and want to submit it for general distribution, please contact threads@authentise.com with a link to your repo. We'll check it and get back to you before we turn it live.
The process will be a bit like this:
-
Share a Github Repo
-
We can package it into an app, and will show you what do
-
We package it into a docker image we can run on AWS instance
-
We do some very basic QA, and attach arms
To learn how to get started...
Need some ideas?
We'd be interested in tools that could help...
-
Incorporate with CAD Designs: Perhaps a tool that could explain key features of CAD designs or geometry.
-
Supply Chain Integration: Could Threads be integrated with a manufacturing service or other system?
-
Report Generation: Use LLM's to generate key reports or documentation.
-
Provide easy access Simulation Results.
