Please read this Privacy Policy which describes how Authentise, Inc. (“Authentise”, “we,” or “us”) gathers, uses, stores, shares and protects your personal information gathered when you download our software or use our websites, networks, applications or any of our other services (our “Service”). This Policy is incorporated into and is subject to our Terms of Service. You accept this Privacy Policy when you sign up for our Service.
About our privacy policy
We respect your right to privacy and take seriously our responsibilities in relation to the processing of personal data. We do not collect or process personal data unnecessarily. This privacy policy (the “Policy”) together with our terms of service (the “Terms of Service”) sets out important information about your rights in relation to the processing of your personal data, and the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed in connection with your use of this website (“our Site” or “the Site”), app or service (the “Services”). We do not knowingly attempt to solicit or receive information from children.
Controller
Under this Policy, and unless the circumstances otherwise require, we will be what’s known under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the “GDPR”) as the “controller” of the personal data you provide to us. As data controller we determine the purposes and means of processing your personal data.

Whether you pay us for the use of our software or you are a visitor, we may collect and store the following information:

We also may collect information regarding interaction of the Service with printers, such as whether you printed, paused or cancelled a design.

Usage Data: Information about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL), clickstream to, through, and from our site (including date and time), products you viewed or searched for, page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), methods used to browse away from the page, and any phone number used to call us.
Information from Other Sources: We may obtain information, including personal information, from third parties sources, such as third party designers and websites services that make products available to You (“Designers”), print manufacturers, our partners, advertisers, and Integrated Services. If we combine or associate information from other sources with personal information that we collect through the Service, we will treat the combined information as personal information in accordance with this Policy.

“Cookies” Information: We may send one or more cookies – small text files containing a string of alphanumeric characters – to your device. We may use both session cookies and persistent cookies. A session cookie disappears after you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains after you close your browser and may be used by your browser on subsequent visits to the Service. If you delete or choose not to accept cookies from the Service, you may not be able to utilize the features of the Service to their fullest potential.

“Automatically Collected” Information: We may “automatically collect” information such as your IP address or other device address or ID, web browser and/or device type, the pages or other content you view or otherwise interact with on the Service, and the dates and times that you visit, access, or use the Service. Microsoft Clarity is used to understand how visitors interact with our site, via an in-built Wix plugin. Information on mouse toggling, hovering, scrolling and interactions with text fields and buttons is automatically collected and recorded onto Microsoft Clarity. Microsoft Clarity may also collect data related to your web browser and device type.
Where We Collect the Information
Our Service is hosted in the United States. If you choose to use the Service from other regions, then please note that you are transferring your personal information to the United States for storage and processing. Also, we may transfer your data from the U.S. to other countries or regions in connection with storage and processing of data, fulfilling your requests, and operating the Service.
How do We store and protect your data and Information:
We use certain physical, managerial, and technical safeguards that are designed to improve the integrity and security of your designs and personally identifiable information. With these, we ensure that we always adhere to local regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”). If your personally identifiable information is credit card information, it is transmitted directly to the payment provider in a secure way. We do not collect or store credit card information. However, we expressly disclaim any and all liability for unauthorized access of your credit card and other personal and/or financial information collected and transmitted by us, and you agree to hold us harmless from any and all claims, liabilities and damages that may result from any such unauthorized access. We cannot, however, ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or store on our website or the Service, and you do so at your own risk. We also cannot guarantee that such information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards.
If we learn of a security systems breach, then we may attempt to notify you electronically so that you can take appropriate protective steps. We may post a notice through the Service if a security breach occurs.
We will hold and use the data for as long as necessary to provide the Data. You can request the prior deletion of your data by contacting us as described below.

When appropriate, we will provide a clear and conspicuous mechanism to choose (opt out) of whether your information is (i) to be disclosed to a third party or (ii) to be used for a purpose that is materially different from the purpose(s) for which it was originally collected or subsequently authorized by the individuals.
We try to minimize disclosures of personal data as reasonably practical because we are mindful of our responsibility and potential liability in cases of onward transfers to third parties.
Third-Party Services
We use Google Analytics services on our website. Google may use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookie) and third-party cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) together to inform, optimize, and serve ads based on a user's past visits to our website. If you want to update or opt out of your Google Analytics preferences, you may do so by using Google’s Ads Preferences Manager or such other tools as Google may make available. We are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of third-party sites or services, such as Google, but we are liable for the safeguard according to our rules of any personal information we communicate to third parties.
We use Mailchimp and Salesforce to send email campaigns, capture user data (incl name, addresses, email addresses) and capture usage data. Each email sent to you will include the option to opt out.
We use Google Fonts and Font Awesome to manage our fonts and icons, which may include usage data. You may access the Service through features or links to Websites and services provided by third parties. Any information you provide on third-party sites or services is provided directly to the operators of such services and is subject to those operators’ policies, if any. We are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of third-party sites or services through which links or access is provided to the Service.
Children’s Privacy
Our Service is not directed to children under the age of 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 18 without obtaining parental consent. If you are under 18 years of age, then please do not use or access the Service. If you are a parent or guardian and discover that your child under 18 years of age has obtained an account on the Service, then you may alert us at info@authentise.com and request that we delete that child’s personally identifiable information from our systems.
Privacy Settings
No security measures are perfect or impenetrable. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures on the Service. We cannot control the actions of other users with whom you may choose to share your information. Even after information posted on the Service is removed, caching and archiving services may have saved that information, and other users or third parties may have copied or stored the information available on the Service. We cannot and do not guarantee that information you post on or transmit to the Service will not be viewed by unauthorized persons.
Do Not Track Policy
Our website and Service are not designed to respond to “do not track” signals received from browsers.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
If we make any material changes in the way we use your personal information we will notify you by posting a prominent announcement on our website at least thirty (30) days prior to the change taking effect. Any revised Privacy Policy will only apply prospectively to personal information and/or non-personal information collected or modified after the effective date of the revised policy. You should periodically review the Privacy Policy available at our website for revisions. Use of our Service and/or our website after revision of the Privacy Policy signifies your consent to the revised Privacy Policy.
Marketing Opt-In and Opt-Out
We may collect various types of personal information about you online as described in this Privacy Policy. When you register, you will be given the option to opt-out of subscribing to our regular update service which will send you: Email alerts for new products, features, enhancements, special offers, and upgrade opportunities. We do not sell or otherwise pass your details to third parties for marketing purposes. Marketing communications you subscribe to will only be sent by us. At all times, we will offer you the opportunity to unsubscribe out of any service or update to which you have subscribed, if you change your mind. Under California law, our customers who are residents of California may request certain information about our disclosure of personal information during the prior calendar year to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Privacy Shield
Authentise complies with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union and Switzerland to the United States. Authentise has certified to the Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the Privacy Shield Principles, the Privacy Shield Principles shall govern. To learn more about the Privacy Shield program, and to view our certification, please visit privacyshield.gov.
We are subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the FTC, or any other U.S. authorized statutory body and there may be instances under which you can invoke binding arbitration with us.
European customers who have not received adequate response to their privacy concerns from us directly can, within 45 days of submitting the first request, file for resolution with JAMS under: jamsadr.com/eu-us-privacy-shield.

Also use that email address to request a correction, amendment, or deletion of the information we hold about you if it is inaccurate, or has been processed in violation of the Principles. We will endeavour to comply with every request made via this channel, except where the burden or expense of providing access would be disproportionate to the risks to Your privacy, or where the rights of persons other than You would be violated.
